HISTORY OF THE GARDEN CENTRE
26th September 2016 Frank Dallimore purchased the land on which the garden centre is now built.
26th September 2016 Father and Son ( Frank and Colin Dallimore ) started to grow a large selection of vegetables, which initially they sold form their garage. Then later they built a small shop in which to sell their produce.
26th September 2016 Mark arrived and is still working with us today! 40 years next year…
26th September 2016 As the sales of vegetables decreased ( due to supermarkets ) They introduced free range chickens, and started to grow some of the first bedding plants, which then changed into a nursery.
26th September 2016 Pet food was introduced to the shop.
26th September 2016 Lucy starting working at the nursery.
26th September 2016 Katie starting working at the nursery.
26th September 2016 New shop was built including a coffee shop.
